Staying Real!

There are many things that I wish to become and goals I wish to conquer. With all my aspirations my biggest desire is to stay as real as possible. What is staying real?? It means to stay authentic, stay genuine, mean and do everything that is what you really desire to do without apologies. I have seen people who rise to the tops of their professions and they suddenly become disconnected with reality. They engross themselves with the organization and become evil, conniving and they lose touch with who they really are. I imagine these same people gave up on there real dreams and hence became bitter. I guess that these same people negate the pure essence of life each time it is presented. What a shame to rise so far and lose yourself in the process. I don’t wish to become that. I wish to love and be loved in a genuine manner. I wish to be effective and fearless yet sensitive to others. That is my real and I am sticking to it!
