It was bad enough that the talent on American Idol was decreasing. The kids were looking more polished and were less raw as in previous season. So American Idol was headed toward the recipe of complacency. When people know what to expect then can their ever really be spontenatity again? In my opinion the answer is no and apparently that is also the answer for Simon Cowell. Many moons ago he stated that he would leave after 11 seasons, but no recognized his signal of departure. Now as Simon leaves I will leave also ( Actually I left a long time ago but still). I will support Simon’s new venture.. the X Factor and maybe even audition. Lord knows I love his little English accent anyway! I got jungle fever, she got jungle fever, we got jungle fever, were in love! LOL. Carry on my readers! Carry on!
The Envious Winner (in their own eyes)
Why even bother? Why take the extra energy to not like me but act like you like me? Why? I don’t understand some people…some people I know who I thought were my acquaintances and friends just don’t like me…I try to pinpoint it but I just can’t put my finger on it. I took counsel with some people and they attribute it to envy…wanting to have what you have regardless of what you went through to get there…envious people are funny to me. They obviously are jealous of you and what you have but then they turn around and try to be some people’s friend. It is so incredibly funny to me because initially I think oh this person is cool and stuff and they go and talk behind your back, try to use information that they have on you to hurt you, or never allow you to really be their friend. I have people who I thought were my friend but come to find out they are not my friend at all. I ask for stuff and they would rather bury it then give it to me. I have people who I call when I am in their town and they just happen NOT to pick up the phone so we can meet….so in conjunction with my other post I am just disappointed in a large group of people in general! It is like elementary school & high school all over again…and who really wants to relive that?? Just some thoughts people.

Getting Out of Your Cycle
Having a habit is caused by doing something in a perpetual manner regardless of the end result. I have been in a habit for sooo long that I decided that today would be the day that I negate my own pattern. I have a habit of not letting people go soon enough. I hold on too long hoping that they will become what I desire. I hold onto hope and faith while my self-esteem and self-worth get pummeled. I allow them the benefit of the doubt but allow myself the ability to continue holding out for a different result. Well no more! This is my Christmas gift to myself! The ability to let go and say no more! No more allowing myself to feel like a second-rate citizen. No more letting them feel comfortable while I feel horrible. No more of the drama or the bullcrap! No more. It is time for me to take a stance and to take a stand. It is time for me to build myself to be what I need to be. I can’t allow others to hold me down because it makes them feel comfortable. I have to allow myself the breathing room and the space to walk away. I have to reassess my paths. I must use a compass to see my path. Somehow. Someway I lost my footing. I allowed someone else to handle it and not myself. I must have thought that my standards were getting in my own way but in reality they were allowing me to survive this tough world. So on the Christmas Day as other’s are singing Carols..I will be singing Donna’s..Donna Summer “I will survive”.

The list goes on and on.. my question to you is…why would these people wait SO DAYUM long to have a perfume??? I mean really. You were famous before all of this and you think NOW would be the best time to have a perfume line…serious?? Some did have perfums before but why a new one now? Because of the holidays??….
Did it not occur to them that we are in a recession. That your music sales are down, that no body is buying anything except the essentials?? Are you sooo far removed from the human ailment that you forget how it is to pinch and dime? I am flabagasted! Also each person on this list is WAYYYY down from their peak. They can not sell the records they once sold. So how will they sell the fragrances…I mean I understand supplementing your income but I don’t think about your fragrance while your performing. While Beyonce is gyrating on the stage I am not think ‘hmm I wonder if she smells more flowery with each shake’…just saying…but hey people bought the snuggies so what do I know…. lol

All in all I am sorry for his family. It seems like this will sting his children forever but if he can learn from his mistakes and move on then he will be all right.
Saying Goodbye to the Past…
Saying Goodbye has never been an easy thing to do but sometimes you know you need to do it but you delay in the process. In my life I have had to say Goodbye to a lot of people and most of the time it was easy and then you get those people who are hard to breakaway from….they have been such an intrigual part of your life that it hurts to ripe them away from you but you know you have to do it. It must be done to preserve your mind & soul. I have been doing this a lot lately with several people and it is not easy. Sometimes it easy to confront the person like you know big dueces but then their are other times when you don’t have time for all that! You just like listen dude it is time to go! In a non-talking, cold shoulder type of way. lol. Their is really no easy way of being clear with your needs…but I pray that it will get better as time progress’. Realizing that things are really over and done with some people is tripping me out to say the least…eventhough I initiated it. I sometimes second guess myself and my needs…I know some of you guys/gals/dogs & cats feel me! Well just like Boys to Men said “It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday…eeeeeeee”

So I am sitting here reading this Sammy Sosa mess and I am really disturbed by it. I thought he was a handsome man with his regular skin color but he obviously didn’t think so…I am kinda disturbed by his lack of self esteem the lack of encouragement and uplifting his wife didn’t show him…I mean I would have told him he was beautiful everyday.Even if he didn’t believe me..Now he looks like casper’s cousin jasper..

I am a lightskinned girl but I would love to have beautiul dark skin like Gabriel Union. I think dark skin color is beautiful.
I mean skin like that just glistens! My skin needs bacon grease, crisco and sparkles to even match that! But I don’t try to go and get darker. I just work what I have and if I happen to get a tan then hey it don’t make or break me.

Covergirl is a cosmetic line company that has FASHION MODELS and celebrities who wear makeup advertise their products…
So let’s focus on Ellen Degeneres…
Ellen is a comedian, who used to have her own show and now is a famous for her talkshow, hosting and dancing.
Now nowhere in this description would I depict Ellen as a fashion model and sure as hell not a covergirl!! Let’s focus on the company Covergirl for a moment…it is a cosmetic company and Ellen wears hardly any makeup EVER!!… and if she does the most she wears is Coverup, foundation and some blush and maybe some lipgloss but hell it may be vaseline cuz I can’t tell the difference!…so now the most Covergirl can get is an increase of cover-up and foundation sales…I sure ain’t gonna see that commercial and think of mascara or fake eyelashes. LOL.
I would have put her as the face of Steve Harvey Suits or something…
